Community Information:

Centralia, Washington is a town of 18,000, ideally situated along the I-5 corridor halfway between Seattle and Portland.  Known for its antique stores and outlets, Centralia is only 30 minutes from the state capitol of  Olympia and the Puget Sound.  For those who enjoy the outdoors, we have numerous biking and hiking trails, opportunities to kayak and float the Sound or any number of local rivers, and are only 45 minutes from ocean beaches, and less than 2 hours from outstanding backpacking and hiking at Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens, and down hill skiing and snowshoeing at White Pass ski area.  Big game and waterfowl hunting are also very popular here.   And unbelievably for such small towns, Centralia and its neighboring city of Chehalis (population 8000) boast many excellent restaurants that draw foodies from the Seattle and Portland area!
