Cheyenne is the capital of Wyoming, the largest city in Wyoming and the site of F.E. Warren Air Force Base. It is called the "Magic City of the Plains." It's the state's oldest and largest city. It is strategically situated at a major transportation hub (the intersection of Interstates 25 and 80 and two major railroads), lending it as a developing center of commerce. Being only 40 miles from Ft. Collins, CO and 90 minutes north of Denver, CO, Cheyenne sits as the northern anchor city of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with easy access to larger cities to connect for traveling and shopping. Cheyenne is nestled between 2 mountain ranges the Medicine Bow National Forest and in the Colorado Rockies which provide easy access to recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, hunting and world class mountain biking within 30 minutes. It is also within a quick drive of several nearby ski resorts.
