RKM Primary Care Springfield opened its doors September 2, 2015 becoming the ninth federally-qualified health center under the Primary Care Providers for a Healthy Feliciana, Inc. umbrella. The nurse practitioners and staff provide primary care, behavioral health and dental services from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait time, but walk-ins are welcome. The clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurances. We also offer a sliding fee scale based on income level and family size and accept major credit cards or cash as payment. We provide labs on site.
Behavioral health services that include medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and counseling are available on site. These services are provided by our behavioral health team, which consists an APMHNP-BC and two LCSWs. Assistance for patients unable to afford their medications is also available through the 340B Drug Program and various pharmacy assistance programs.
